Common questions.

Do you store my contact list?

Only as long as we need to validate it. We don't add it to anything else, and we don't share it. After delivery you can ask for permanent deletion.

How long does a contact validation run take?

Usually within 24–48 hours of receiving the file. Larger lists may take a little longer. We'll tell you upfront.

Do you provide proof of opt-in or consent?

No, that remains your responsibility. We validate technical reachability and WhatsApp registration, not consent.

What about privacy and compliance?

We process the list on your instruction. Local privacy and marketing laws still apply to your campaigns.

What format do I send the list in?

CSV or Excel works. We accept common international mobile formats and normalise to E.164.

What do I get back?

A cleaned list of validated WhatsApp numbers, plus a short report breaking down duplicates, invalid formats, landlines, and numbers not registered on WhatsApp.

Can I send WhatsApp marketing templates to US numbers?

No. Meta has paused all marketing template delivery to WhatsApp users with US (+1) phone numbers. Any marketing template send to a +1 number returns an error. Utility and authentication templates are unaffected. The per-user marketing cap is also currently inactive for senders and recipients in the EEA, UK, Japan, and South Korea.

What happens after the June 2026 WhatsApp username rollout?

Meta is transitioning contacts from phone numbers to BSUIDs (Business Scoped User IDs). After the rollout, phone numbers stop being automatically visible for any contact you haven't interacted with in the last 30 days. Validating your list now preserves phone-number access before that window closes.

Is validation once-off or ongoing?

We recommend validating before every major campaign send. Contact lists decay by 2–5% monthly due to phone number abandonment, carrier recycling, and users switching to new devices. A list that was clean 90 days ago may have thousands of dead numbers by the time you send.
